Paulo Jorge started cutting hair at just 14/15 years old. Around 35 years ago, he began his art in Fenais da Ajuda, on a cliff that was made of agricultural beech trees belonging to his father.
So he cut hair for “free” to perfect himself in the art. In 1996, he attended the Barber Officer and Half Officer training courses.
In 2006, Paulo Jorge opened his own business in Ponta Delgada and named it after himself. There was only one professional, in a modern space, recreated with museum pieces of the art of cutting hair and beard, and practically extinct.
